First Day of 3K!

Abby Grace had her first day of school Sept. 8 at Grace United Methodist Church. She will be attending the 3K class every day from 9-12. She has been so excited about school starting back (and mommy has been thrilled too!) We just can't believe how big our little girl is getting!

Friends, Pajamas, Playing, & Swinging

I just wanted to post a few cute pics... Karen, Tim, and Luke came to visit us a couple of weeks ago, and here are the kiddies having fun at the downtown waterfront park.

Pajama time! Abby Grace always puts her pajamas on by herself, and when she puts on a gown, she always finds some pajama pants to go with it! (And yes, Caleb can climb the stairs--all of them, in fact!)

Caleb just having fun in his playroom... New updates--Caleb has 6 teeth now and likes to brush his own hair. He can pull up and stand alone. He loves to wave bye-bye and plays peek-a-boo with his hands.

Grammy and Granddaddy came to visit over a week ago, and we were able to get the kids' birthday present installed. Since then, we have been swinging every day, as you can see (which has been a good and bad thing, but mostly good!).

The Pineapple Fountain

On the same day as the previous pool pics, we headed downtown to eat with Nathan at the Noisy Oyster (he had stayed with us for part of the weekend). Nathan had to head back home after we ate, but we decided to take Abby Grace to see the Pineapple Fountain for the first time. You see, we gave Abby Grace this book over a year ago called Good Night, Charleston, which has pictures of some of the main sites to see. Abby Grace has been very into this book (especially before we moved here) and wants to make sure that she has seen everything in person now that we are in Charleston. It was actually really funny when we first moved into our house because I think she was disappointed that our house wasn't pink like the houses in her book!

Pool Fun

These are pics from our neighborhood pool on August 15. As you can see, the kids love it! Abby Grace can swim all over the pool with her "froggy," and she loves the water fountains. Caleb loves the wade-in part because he can sit and play in the water, but put him in a flotation device, and you have an unhappy baby! He doesn't want any part of it. The pool is also great because we can easily walk to and from it using the wagon.
